SEO

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the process of improving the search engine ranking of a website and increasing traffic to that site. Getting targeted traffic is absolutely essential in order for any online business to be successful.

SEO involves both “on site” optimization (which involves optimizing the actual web design and content of a site), as well as “off site” optimization (which involves optimizing off-site factors, such as the number and types of incoming links pointed to your site.)

Liz’s Recommendations:

  • Court Tuttle’s Internet Marketing website can teach you everything you ever wanted to know about SEO, internet marketing and making money online. It is a great resource for experienced Search Engine Marketers, but it is also ideal for beginners, since the articles are very thorough and the site is extremely interactive.
  • Lavalinx is by far the best link management system I’ve come across. I use it to easily complete and manage all my link trades. Link trading is a huge part of successful SEO. Lavalinx allows you to exchange links and manage link trades for multiple websites in one account. You can manage all different types of links, including reciprocal, triangle and paralell link trades. You can even exchange blog links (Lavalinx is the first link management system to allow you to track and manage trades between blog pages). You can also post links dynamically on any web page you choose (including blog pages), and manage those links in one efficient link management system. If there were only ONE link building service you could choose, trust me, this should be it!
